Client Executive

Summary of Duties:

Serves as the relationship specialist and technology guide for organizations to make strategic technological decisions. Safely navigate our clients through technology…simply and efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains client relationships both vertically and horizontally within Clients.
Compiles list of prospective clients for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites, and other sources.
Schedules appointments with clients utilizing the expertise of divisional managers and technical specialists.
Meets with and listens to clients and/or prospects to understand their business technology environment.
Analyzes clients’ feedback and works with the technical teams to provide assessment and testing to uncover solutions.
Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager and/or users, and updates CRM with all communications.
Reviews products and solutions with technical consultants as needed to close sales.
Quotes prices and/or credit terms. Prepares sales contracts for orders obtained in a timely fashion and sense of urgency.
Estimates date of delivery to clients, based on knowledge of own firm’s production and delivery schedule.
Stresses the importance of system management services in the clients’ future.
Conducts annual client planning sessions to forecast annual projects and spending.
Prepares reports of business transactions and maintains expense accounts.
Makes sales calls to potential and existing clients by telephone, e-mail and networking to generate face-to-face meetings.
Completes minimum number of face-to-face Quarterly Client Reviews of selected clients identified on the Quarterly Review form.
Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
Overcomes technical and business objectives of prospective clients by seeking innovative ways to close business through consultation with technical specialists and management team.
Coordinates client training.
Travels to and attends trade shows.
Returns calls and e-mails promptly and within one business day.
Assists with other business activities as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Sales experience, preferably with an IT company selling hardware and software solutions.
Proven track record of sales.
Experience with B2B sales.
Solid background in cold-calling and script development and management.
Strong, confident phone presence and professional face-to-face presentation abilities.
Excellent skills in problem solving and proposal writing.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Maintains necessary certifications as determined by management.
